CLIENT: ONE TREE OLIVE OIL
SCOPE: BRAND STRATEGY, IDENTITY, PACKAGING AND WEB DESIGN
One Tree Olive Oil is a limited press olive oil picked and grown in Perth, Western Australia. Harvested by hand and cold pressed in York, south of WA, the making of this
oil is a long marked family affair. I designed and developed One Tree’s brand strategy, identity and subsequent labels for this refreshingly refined tasting oil.
A utilitarian style label was created to communicate the simple, pure taste of the oil – ensuring the product type ‘extra virgin olive oil’ and
product origin ‘crafted in WA’ was easily identifiable to the consumer. Contrasting these attributes with a beautiful serif font to add a slight heritage look and feel. One Tree’s brand identity was
then rolled out across a mobile friendly website where users can discover more about the brand’s philosophy, purchase the tasty product and expand their culinary repertoire with regularly updated recipes.
Upon rolling out the brand across its various touch points I also developed a Brand Playbook. This brand foundation document consolidates and synthesises the One Tree
brand DNA into a neatly organised, shareable asset that One Tree can refer to when making future marketing decisions and expanding their range, allowing them to confidently live and breathe their brand
out in the wild.
